Tawana Toms-Haynes, Director of Outpatient Operations
Tawana began her career at Radiology Associates of Hartford, P.C. in 2011 as a Team Lead overseeing three sites. Throughout her 11 years at RAH, she has successfully grown into the Director of Outpatient Operations for RAH. As Director, Tawana provides oversight of daily operations for five, full-service imaging centers in the greater Hartford, Connecticut area. These responsibilities include personnel management, patient services, complete oversight of all imaging modalities accreditations, as well as all technical, clinical, and business operations. She plays a key role in EHR/PACS optimization and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining RAH, Tawana was a Lead Mammographer at a nearby center, and held positions in Diagnostic Radiology and Breast Imaging at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Tawana earned her Associates Degree from Capital Community College, a Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration from Charter Oak State College and lastly, a Master’s Degree with a concentration in Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership which was obtained in 2018.
