Screening mammography saves lives, and it’s one of the easiest steps women can take to be as healthy as possible and catch a possible breast cancer early.

Connecticut law has expanded and requires health insurance policies to cover a baseline mammogram for women age 35 to 39 and a screening mammogram every year for women age 40 or older. In addition, the law also mandates coverage for additional diagnostic screening.
