SCHEDULING

Online patient self-scheduling is now enabled! When your faxed order is received, we will automatically text or email the patient, giving them the option to self-schedule their exam.

If you are calling to schedule an appointment for your patient – please know that our centralized scheduling team is currently experiencing very high call volumes. We apologize for the hold times and thank you in advance for your grace and understanding with our team.

RECEIVING RESULTS

Results will be faxed to the number indicated on the order.

Results are also uploaded directly to the patient portal within 3-5 business days following their appointment.

VIEWING IMAGES

Our cloud-based platform, powered by Ambra, enables you to securely access patient images on your desktop, tablet, or mobile device anytime. Users must be registered with our practice to access images using Ambra.

What is changing at RAH?

After a 40-year relationship with Trinity Health and St. Francis Hospital, the healthcare system has decided to move in a new direction with their imaging services. As such, we will be moving off of our current instance of EPIC and transitioning onto a new system that allows for greater flexibility for both referring providers and patients.

Radiology Associates of Hartford remains committed to providing expert, responsive, and compassionate care to patients across our region through our five imaging centers, located throughout central Connecticut.

We offer state of the art imaging technology and our physicians are committed to returning reports within 48 business hours following an exam.

As we transition onto our new system, there will be no impact on our ability to serve mutual patients.

We are remaining on EPIC until Monday, November 4th. During this time, we are extracting exams already scheduled. This includes all orders received, in both our active and deferred work queues.

Beginning November 4th, we will need to receive all orders via fax. Results will also be returned via fax. Our new system is expected to be fully operational in Q1 of 2025, and we have added additional support resources to assist referring providers with this adjustment in process throughout the transition time.

You will be able to view patient images in Epic or Synapse for patients seen prior to November 1, 2024.

Starting November 4, 2024, you will be able to access patient images using Ambra, our secure, cloud-based platform. You must be registered with our practice to access images and result reports using Ambra.
